Anti Social Behaviour Concern Update - VHP Hindu Temple - Cleveland Road Ilford.

Here’s a quick update on anti-social behaviour locally. We know it can be distressing, but we’re working closely with partners to make the area safer and support residents. 
 

On Tuesday 01/09/2026 the local Safer Neighbour Team Clementswood SNT PCSO 7002EA ALEEM received a call from the local councilliour of group of males and females inhaling nitrous oxide gas in the late evening outside in the corner of Cleveland Road while the Hindu Temple is being closed for the day at 1930hrs. PCSO 7002EA ALEEM has explained to the caretaker not to challenge the individuals to call 101 explaining the issues. As this is a place of faith officers will be taking the call to get to the area as soon as they can or if the Clementswood SNT are on duty. PCSO 7002EA ALEEM has also explained when the Clementswood SNT are on late shift they will complete mobile patrols - bike patrols on Cleveland Road outside the VHP Hindu Temple.
